Volunteer With Us
Volunteers are at the heart of our parish and community. As a volunteer, you will be part of the way we do God's work in our communities every day.
Volunteering can be a wonderful opportunity to:
- experience the joy and fulfilment that comes from serving your community and being part of something bigger
- build connections and friendships with fellow volunteers and the communities in which you serve
- develop new skills and gain valuable experience
Ways You Can Get Involved
There are many ways to share your time and talents with our parish community, including:
- Liturgical Ministries — serving as a reader, minister of the Eucharist, altar server, or welcoming people as a greeter
- Music & Choir — sharing your musical gifts to enhance our liturgical celebrations
- Children & Youth — supporting sacramental preparation, youth groups, and family faith programs
- Care & Community — visiting the sick and elderly, supporting families in need, or assisting with pastoral care
- Parish Administration — helping with office support, communications, or event coordination
- Fundraising & Events — assisting with parish morning teas, and community gatherings
- Property & Environment — contributing to the care and maintenance of our parish grounds and facilities
Whether you have an hour a week or a day a month, there is a place for you here.
Compliance Requirements
To ensure the safety of our community, all volunteers are required to hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and a current National Police Check. If you need to apply for or renew either of these, please use the links below:
If you have any questions about compliance requirements, please don't hesitate to contact the Parish Office.
